<p><strong>Position Summary</strong><br />Oweesta Corporation is the longest-standing Native Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) intermediary, dedicated to strengthening Native economies and supporting the sovereignty of Native nations. Oweesta provides training and technical assistance, capital, research, and policy advocacy to Native CDFIs, Native nonprofits, and Native communities.</p>
<p>The Programs Officer, Housing will lead Oweesta’s housing-related programming with a primary focus on overseeing and advancing Oweesta’s Native Housing Counseling Network. This position serves as the organizational lead for all Housing Counseling activities, including program compliance, reporting, network coordination, and continuous improvement of housing counseling services within Native communities.</p>
<p>The Programs Officer, Housing will also contribute to Oweesta’s broader financial education, capacity building, and training and technical assistance offerings, working collaboratively with the Programs team and other departments. This role requires strong experience in housing counseling, financial education, and Native community-based work, along with demonstrated project management, compliance oversight, and relationship-building skills.</p>

<p><strong>Position Summary</strong><br />Oweesta Corporation is the longest-standing Native Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) intermediary, dedicated to strengthening Native economies and supporting the sovereignty of Native nations. Oweesta provides training and technical assistance, capital, research, and policy advocacy to Native CDFIs, Native nonprofits, and Native communities.<br />The Programs Officer is on Oweesta’s Programs team, contributing to the design, implementation, and management of a diverse portfolio of programs focused on housing, financial education, capacity building, and training and technical assistance. This role supports multiple initiatives and funding streams, works closely with program leads and partners, and helps ensure high-quality delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement across Oweesta’s programs.<br />The Programs Officer will collaborate closely with other Programs staff and cross-departmental teams, provide direct support to Native CDFIs and Native-serving organizations, and represent Oweesta in external settings. This role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a commitment to advancing equitable economic development in Native communities.</p>

				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><p>The Ohkay Owingeh Housing Authority is aggressively seeking to fill the Housing Manager position.</p>
<p>OhKay Owingeh Housing was established in 1997 and has been at the forefront of Native Housing projects by being recognized locally and nationally for creative innovations. The Ohkay Owingeh Housing division is charged with leading the housing needs of all tribal members including rehabilitation and renovation; maintaining a 40-unit rental complex; developing new housing development; and historical renovations. Historically funded by HUD grants, Ohkay Owingeh has a long strategy to develop means to provide flexibility to family housing assistance and community needs.</p>
<p>Ohkay Owingeh has a population of approximately 3,000 members. We are located 25 miles north of Santa Fe, New Mexico. We are actively seeking a qualified candidate with demonstrated experience in leadership and management; has a vision for developing and implementing the housing needs of Ohkay Owingeh into the sustainable future.</p>
