Under: News

Because our event is scheduled for May, NAIHC and AMERIND have not yet cancelled or postponed our Annual Convention.

We are monitoring all recommendations and restrictions on large gatherings. We understand that many tribes have instituted travel bans and that public health officials are recommending gathering in the next few weeks be cancelled, but no bans for events in May have been announced. We will continue to monitor the news and work with our conference host and public health officials to ensure the safety of our attendees. We will let you all know as soon as new updates become available. Please know that any registrations for the event will be refunded in the event the Annual Convention is cancelled or postponed.

Like many offices in the Washington, DC area, NAIHC staff will be teleworking from home. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at info@naihc.net or (202) 789-1754.
