About NAIHC Membership
NAIHC consists of nine regions, covering thirty-five states. NAIHC works with these regions to bring a robust unified voice to advance a national agenda on tribal housing. Whether advocating for increased funding or forming intertribal partnerships to build the tribal capacity to operate housing programs, NAIHC membership is deeply rooted in the traditional native concepts of serving their people and communities in a culturally relevant way.
NAIHC’s membership is available in three categories: Voting Members, Associate Membership, and Individual Members. The voting membership of NAIHC consists of over 280 members representing about 500 American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities. NAIHC’s associate membership comprises tribal housing affiliates, such as businesses, organizations, and other entities that partner with tribes and tribal housing. Individuals interested in supporting tribal housing and NAIHC’s mission may become non-voting individual members.
NAIHC continually seeks ways to enhance and expand its membership services. NAIHC provides its members with up-to-date information on grants, program funding, and other opportunities for additional resources.
