National American Indian Housing Council

Regional Indian Housing Associations

The National American Indian Housing Council (NAIHC) proudly works alongside the eight Regional Indian Housing Associations that represent Tribal housing priorities across the country. These vital partners amplify local voices, share best practices, and help advance national policy that supports strong, self-determined Tribal housing programs.
From Alaska to the Southwest and everywhere in between, these associations are on the front lines delivering culturally relevant housing solutions for Native families and communities.

Note: NAIHC’s Board of Directors includes representation from these 8 geographic regions, ensuring national priorities reflect regional needs. For the most current contact information, leadership, and details for each association, visit the NAIHC page.

This network is a cornerstone of NAIHC’s strength, helping bridge local Tribal housing work with national advocacy (e.g., NAHASDA modernization), training, and technical assistance.

NAIHC’s strength comes from this unified network. Together, we advocate for resources like the NAHASDA Modernization Act, deliver training and technical assistance, and support TDHEs in their important work.

We’re grateful for the dedication of our regional partners and the Tribal Housing Authorities they serve.
