Description: This free, virtual training sponsored by HUD’s Office of Native American Programs (ONAP) helps Tribal Leaders, TDHE staff, housing professionals, and community members understand how to properly transfer ownership of paid-off homes under the Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) program. It covers HUD’s legal and regulatory requirements, outlines the step-by-step conveyance process, clarifies roles and responsibilities, and offers guidance on homeowner education and post-conveyance duties.

This training is offered free of charge to Tribal Housing professionals nationwide through a cooperative agreement between the National American Indian Housing Council (NAIHC) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Office of Native American Programs.
