For nearly 40 years the Indian Community Development Block Grant has been the premier source of funding for community facilities, housing improvement and economic development projects in Indian Country. The ICDBG is awarded through an annual, highly competitive grant. This course is designed to provide practical instruction which will enhance your ability to compete successfully. From selecting a fundable project to leveraging available resources, you will learn how to improve the rating of your application. The course will include an update on the HUD response to COVID-19 including the $100 million Imminent Threat appropriation and regulations waivers. You will go away with a greater confidence in your ability to enter the competition and win an award of ICDBG funding for your community development project.
