Description: The NAHASDA Intermediate course is designed to provide comprehensive training on the Native American housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996. Participants will learn about various program activities including: Rental housing and homebuyer programs, rehabilitation and housing and crime prevention services, Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) program requirements and opportunities available for Tribal and TDHE staff. This course aims to strengthen management and compliance skills necessary for effectively running an IHBG program, covering topics such as eligible activities, funding obligations, and policy updates.
