The training will cover the requirements for NAHASDA’s annual compliance assessment required by NAHASDA grant recipients through the mechanism of self-monitoring. The training will highlight 12 key program functions for annual review by grant recipients: IHP/APR Planning & Reporting; Self-Monitoring; Financial Management; Organization & Administration; Procurement & Contract Administration; Environmental Compliance; Eligibility, Admission& Occupancy; Relocation Assistance; Section 504 Accessibility; Maintenance & Inspection; Labor Standards and Lead-based Paint. . The outcome of such assessments is used to report to HUD of areas that are non-compliant and how the recipient intends to self-correct to bring into compliance through Performance Improvement Plans to assure compliance with NAHASDA and other federal related laws as required.
