General Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) receives administrative direction from and reports to the Executive Director, however the CFO is selected by the Yakama Nation Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. The CFO is responsible for ensuring timely accomplishment of all fiscal management. Fiscal management includes motivation, supervision and training of accounting associates and warehouse associates. Fiscal management also includes review of financial records with subordinates and management to ensure accuracy, completeness, and initiative-taking management. The CFO is expected to present accurate reports to the Board of Commissioners and Management that reflects adherence to 24 CFR 1000, Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act, 200 CFR Uniform Guidance, Low Income Housing Tax Credit and YNHA Policy. This position is not eligible for remote work.
