This two-day course is designed to develop the Board of Commissioner’s knowledge of the federal rules and requirements related to Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) funding and program requirements. Participants with become familiarized with the operations of a Tribally Designated Housing Entity (TDHE) and their role as a Board member. The course will cover the history of Indian Housing to the current statute, discussing eligible activities and the required policies and procedures.
