This course will help tribes and tribal housing staff members to determine whether conducting a housing needs assessment is appropriate, identify the purpose and goals of the needs assessment, structure and estimate the cost of the project, identify what information will be gathered from the community, design and implement an outreach and education (PR) plan, implement the data collection effort using trained local staff, and utilize the purposes and goals to drive the data analysis and reporting phase of the project.
