This Two-Day Course will cover Two different subject areas. Day 1 instruction will be Board of Commissioner Training. Day 2 instruction will be Executive Director Training. The Board of Commissioners Training will cover the History of Indian Housing, the key requirements of the Indian Housing Block Grant Program. NAHASDA program and funding requirements, and the oversight responsibilities of the Housing Board. The Executive Director Training will cover the key roles and responsibilities of an Executive Director and administrative requirements necessary for NAHASDA implementation and program oversight to assure compliance. We will also discuss how to Navigate HUD resources. (Regulations, Guidance, and 2 CFR Part 200.
